Blue cabled longies.

I think this pair might be my favourite pair yet! Let me know what you think.

Hello there!

Hey guys, I'm back! Things have been so hectic around here for quite some time, and this poor blog's been a tad neglected, hasn't it?

So how about we kick off with a few photos? First, my daughter's birthday longies from a while ago:

Next, is a satisfied customer modelling his fluffy mail:

Such beautiful kids, yes?

I will have more to show soon!

There have been many changes in the past few months. It looks as though my Cuddlebuns license has fallen through. Yes, technically I am licensed. However, part of my licence states that I must sell the nappies I sew with the Cuddlebuns label sewn on. However, in the 7 months (of a 12 month license!) I have not been able to obtain any labels from the company, despite many attempts. I've not had any explanation given to me, not even an answer to my emails. So, this means I shall be starting the licensing process all over again (with an entirely different company), which will take some time. Such a shame, but chalk it up to experience, huh?

I'm still going to be knitting, however things are too hectic right now for customs until further notice. My sweetie still has a lot of health problems, and that is taking the majority of my time right now, and of course my beautiful children. Stocking my store with knitted goodies will be my focus with the store for now.

Anyway, soon I shall go read all the blogs I've not read in a while, and get back into interacting!

Great morning here!

The sun is out, the men have gone out, it's just us girls staying at home for now. My customer has received her custom orders, so I can now show you how they turned out!

This is one pair of longies, aren't they sweet? Now my little boy wants a pair too! So that shall be next on the family knitting list, huh? I now knit for the store in the day, and for my kids by night. It's a sweet balance that is working for me...

This is the second pair, which is a skinny leg style:

So cuddly, so warm! I'll chat more later.

Hey, long time no see!

Oh gosh, so much to tell you. Firstly, I'd like to thank my readers for their kind wishes whilst Nigel was in hospital.

He is out of hospital now, he stayed for a week, roughly. He was discharged without knowing what was even wrong with him! I am no doctor, and I could be wrong, but I still believe it was paint poisoning. He is still quite unwell, and is still looking for answers with doctors, specialists, etc.

During that week, I was quite busy, also when he came home I tried to get back into my work, but really wanted to look out for Nigel also. Even now, he needs lots of rest. However, I have finished my custom orders, and once they've been received via the post, I will show you pictures on here. But for now, I will let my customer enjoy the suprise first!

It is my beautiful baby girl's birthday on Friday. One year old, it's insane. I feel like I only gave birth to her yesterday, met that tiny, pretty face, with the big, alert, shining eyes... Why do they have to grow so quickly? I'm knitting her some longies at the moment for her birthday, these will be pajama longies. Just in time for the cold weather coming our way. Would you like to see how they are going?

As I'm sure it's glaringly obvious to all, I'm no photographer, huh? Meaning, that the colours in my photo aren't true. They are much brighter and prettier. Nigel and I have already agreed that he will be in charge of the photography of all stock! We have the makings of a light box, we just need to collect some more lights. I can't wait to see my products photographed more nicely!

We are on school holidays here at the moment, and we've all been sick with the flu. I'm so glad my eldest daughter won't miss any more school as she recovers. As for me, I'm adjusting to working full time on this business whilst full time mothering! I think I've made some great leaps this past week or so.

I've missed having a look at my friends' blogs and commenting too, so I'm looking forward to getting a spare moment aside somewhere to do just that very soon. I hope inspiration is coming thick and fast to all of you!

Hey guys..

Things haven't been great here, lately. My darling man has had to go to hospital due to the health problems I mentioned in my last post. They're running a lot of tests on him, he's been in since last night, and will be in for at least another two days.

I will only be completing custom orders for now, and will go back to getting stock ready after that. Thanks for your well wishes.

Hello, dear readers!

It's nice to see some new readers, and a pleasure to read your comments!

It has been (rightly) pointed out to me that my blog could use some more pictures! After having written some articles about my products, it is time to put some photos in, huh? So readers, for your viewing pleasure...

One of my custom orders. The customer asked me to use the celery colour (which looks a little like green, a little like grey) with some scrap wool into shorties, she wasn't fussed on what colours they were. I felt she deserved a little more than scraps, and here's the result:

Some more wool that has recently arrived and one of my business cards that have finally arrived!

My beautiful baby girl, who shockingly turns 1 next month!

Other news: there are going to be some big changes in this household. My wonderful fiance, Nigel, has just handed in his notice to finish up at work. The paint fumes are just making him too sick. So, in three weeks' time, he will be at home with us until otherwise. It will be nice to have him home in that time, and I'm hoping he'll be on the mend quickly. We'll have to wait and see how that turns out. Wish us luck!
